Christchurch Chamber of Trade and Commerce has welcomed a new President and Vice President.

At the Chamber’s AGM on Wednesday 19th June 2024, Tim Lloyd – MD of the prestigious Captain’s Club Hotel at Wick Ferry – and Richard Oswald – owner of PP Printing in Bargates – were elected as President and Vice President of the Chamber for the next 12 months.

Tim is well known throughout the BCP conurbation as a supporter of the tourism industry having been on the Destination Management Board for some years and involved in the Accommodation Business Improvement District (ABID).

Richard has owned PP Printing for many years and has an excellent reputation as well as being enthusiastic in helping businesses and local community however he can.

The pair take over the leadership roles as the Chamber looks to expand membership across the whole of Christchurch.

Tim said: “During this, my second time in office as President, I want to support Christchurch central businesses but also re-build relationships with the outlying districts of Highcliffe, Burton, Grove and the Airport Enterprise Park.

“It is essential we get an overall view of what is needed by businesses across the conurbation, and I want to encourage new members to the Chamber and appoint a few new faces onto the Executive Committee who can help deliver on these promises”
